Dr Orna graduated from University College Cork in 2007. She completed her specialist training in general practice on the Cork GP training scheme and she was awarded Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) in 2013. She has been working in general practice since then and joined Turloughmore Medical Centre in 2018.
Orna has diplomas in child health, obstetrics and gynaecology, and palliative care. She is experienced in family planning including insertion and removal of Implanon device and intrauterine coils. She has a particular interest in child health and development and women’s health including management of pregnancy, menopause and mental health.
Orna is originally from Cork and is a proud lifelong supporter of Cork GAA. She lives locally with her husband and three children.
